The need for reduction of maternal mortality, as well as Pilgrimage of pregnant women in the city of Rio de Janeiro,  resulted in the deployment of "Programa Cegonha Carioca -Stork Carioca Program "in 2011, this is characterized by three modules of action, namely the binding of prenatal maternity hospitals of the city, the transportation by ambulance pregnant during labor, and the host and risk classification by a nurse at the gateway of motherhood.
